There is an extraordinary spa within this hotel. Their own marketing approach is towards the old and disabled. The beds are comfortable. Staff in general was nice and friendly. The gentleman who picked us up from the station was very kind. The apartment house is called "Achterwasser Blick", which translates to view to the Achterwasser, but the majority of apartments are facing hotel buildings. All well equipped and very relaxing. Book the Best Western Hotel Hanse Kogge - Stay at this 4-star spa hotel in Koserow. They'll also pick you up from the train station (the train takes around 3 hours from Berlin with one very easy change). We only used the heated indoor pool and the sauna. Good spa, although the swimming pool is not that large. The breakfast had a very good choice, the restaurant was good (and since we had a very nice and competent waitress, Mrs. Neugebauer, she made our evening even better!). The rooms (Haus Rostock) are a bit old, but commodious and clean. Koserow is a sleepy coastal village - supermarket, good bakery, a few other shops and restaurants: if you want an outdoors-y holiday, it's the place for you. Bikes can be hired from the hotel and there are excellent shady bike paths through the woods behind the beach. The main path goes all along the Usedom coast.
