3) You ca reserve the cabanas above the terrace while you are there, which could be a good thing as the unreserved cabanas got filled quite quickly...having said that, we never had an issue getting one...but it is advised if the sunset is your priority. Just wandering down to the beach expecting to rent one when you feel like it wont work...we were told "Saturday" when one would be available...nothing spontaneous there...apparently you can book through the Intertourist shop/website 2) With Covid protocols in place the Hotel has 2 breakfast sittings....reserve your breakfast time in advance, for the first 3 days we had to have the early breakfast time 7.00-9.00...which wasn't a big hit with anyone because we were on holiday. Restaurant Miramar in Westerland (Sylt) is one of the finest restaurants in Germany. Nothing obstructs the view. We enjoyed sitting in the "cabanas" watching the sea, the beach and the people from above the promenade on the Hotel property.
