Two (artificial) open fires, but the one sided daylight is unfortunate. Nothing exceptional is in my memory except the rudeness of some of the older waiters in the restaurant. The country estate also includes the 13th century Moermond castle, just 300 metres from the hotel. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast while making plans for the rest of the day. What's really missing is a bar area, sure they serve drinks in the restaurant at the dining tables, but it doesn't have a comfy casual feel. The rooms are not (well) isolated, so if you are lucky you will not be disturbed by your neighbors.
